FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • We operate on a standard weekly cycle and our aim is to send out all orders taken throughout a seven day period on a Tuesday afternoon. They are sent overnight so that you will receive them on a Wednesday. We can do a special delivery if something is required more urgently however this does cost more.

  • This is a valid question and there is no right or wrong answer. As there will be more than a weeks worth of meat in a deer box the likely hood is that most of it will be frozen by the customer when they receive it. Also because we vacuum seal most of our product they stay fresh for up to three years when frozen so freezing affects the quality in no way. Freezing adds a further tenderising process to the venison which only improves the quality. We use couriers so sending frozen ensures that the meat will arrive safely and in good condition.

  • There is a lot of information online and many articles / papers written about the benefits of wild venison as part of a balanced diet but for ease we have listed some good ones.
