Wild Venison / Boar Sausages
We are expanding our range of hand made sausages, all made in our Ramsbury facility. We use natural casings and gluten free rusks to bind the sausage mix together. Sausages are packed in 6’s and weigh approx. 400g -500g so the sausages are a really chunky size
We have the following flavours:
Cumberland Venison - using all three species of wild venison and we only use our premium mince (75%) and we add some outdoor bred pork (25%) for making sausages. We add just the right amount of herbs and seasoning and binding agent just to make them a fantastic sausage which can be eaten on their own to make a fantastic toad in the hole…..
Venison and Pork Supreme - using all three species of wild venison and we only use our premium mince (50%) and we add some outdoor bred pork (50%) for making sausages. We add just the right amount of herbs and plain supreme seasoning and binding agent just to make them a fantastic sausage, slightly milder in flavour than our Cumberland sausage.
Wild Boar and Apple - using our wild boar trim mixed with a small amount or pork to ensure we have enough fat as boar can be very lean, we then add cubed apple and our supreme gluten free mix. This is a lovely sweet but full flavour ideal for BBQ’s, Breakfast and as a stand alone meal.
